Carpano Antica Formula was invented in Turin by Antonio Benedetto Carpano, and to this day the classic vermouth is still produced in the Fratelli Branca Distillery according to the original recipe.
Carpano Antica Formula is made with a blend of white wines, including Piemonte Muscat and rich wines from the South of Italy. The distinctive flavour comes from carefully selected herbs from the Italian mountain regions. But the star of this vermouth is the delicate vanilla which is accompanied by hints of spices and dried fruit such as star anise, orange peel, and dates.
