However, the house?s founders George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Michael Meldman upped the ante and added the eagerly anticipated Añejo tequila to their product range. This deep-golden drink almost looks like a fine whisky and should be part of every serious tequila bar?s inventory!
Casamigos Añejo Tequila is manufactured with the help of the small batch method. High-quality agave hearts are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 and afterwards slowly fermented for 80 hours. You will be able to find the soft aroma of vanilla and a warm hint of caramel in its bouquet.
George Clooney and Rande Gerber said the following regarding the late launch of Casamigos Añejo Tequila: "It was important to take our time and have the patience necessary to create the perfect Añejo. We?re happy to say it is ready for the bottle. In fact, to be sure, we bottled a couple cases and have been enjoying it with friends for the past few weeks."
