The relaunch in 2010 gave the Espolòn bottle a whole new appearance. Besides being more bulgy, it now has a new innovative label that shows a monochrome drawing of two skeletons and has been designed by American artist Steve Noble who already designed the beautiful bottle label of The Kraken Rum.
The tequila is handmade in the Los Altos region, which is situated in the Mexican state of Jalisco. For the production of this Reposado, only the hearts of the finest blue agave plants are being used. As a result of its double distillation, the tequila is clear as a crystal and incredibly smooth. For its perfect balance between fruity flavours, vanilla and peppery spices, the tequila has won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
