Saffron Gin contains one of the most expensive spices in the world: saffron. The gin is produced in Dijon, a French city that normally is famous for its mustard and cassis liqueur. At the Gabriel Boudier distillery, the making of fine spirits has a long tradition. The gin is handmade and aromatised with juniper berries, coriander, Angelica seeds, Iris root, lemon and orange peel, fennel as well as saffron. The latter ingredient gives the gin its wonderful orange hue.
