Muscatel Gin is a modern handmade gin from Mainz, which is given its unique character through use of the muscatel grape. Presenter, actor, and investor in innovative startups Joachmin "Joko" Winterscheidt contributed to the gin from spirits company A Witch, A Dragon & Me. The gin is an exotic creation made from one of the oldest white wines in the world.
In addition to the ever-present juniper notes, Muscatel Gin shows hints of clary sage, plantain, white turmeric, coriander, elderflower, iris flower, bitter orange peel, chamomile, and sage blossom. In a small cylindrical bottle with a stylish label, this gin comes bottled at 44% abv - an alcohol content which supports the gin perfectly. You'll perceive a creamy and soft flavour with tart herbaceous tones. Floral notes and subtle fruit flavours follow, to delight the palate.
